La Mercerie is a secluded, beautifully restored c1800 farmhouse surrounded by fields located in the south-west region of Normandy known as Basse Normandy on the borders of Pays de Loire and Brittany. It is located in a glorious rural location, off a quiet country lane with its own access road.

The idyllic surrounding countryside consists of gently rolling hills, an abundance of pretty apple and pear orchards producing cider and the famous Calvados. You will also see plenty of Normandy cows responsible for the delicious milk, butter and cheeses (Camembert, Pont Eveque and Livarot) that Normandy is famous for.
